Biography
I am an author and Reiki Master. I have written many magazine and newspaper articles about people, places and the cultures of the Four Corners area. I also write about alternative healing methods. I have written three books related to trees. One is a young adult fantasy novel. One is a non-fiction book about the benefits of being around trees; it includes exercises and tools to help us stay more grounded and balanced and to navigate life more gracefully. The other is a fiction picture book about two children who develop a friendship with a cottonwood tree.
My three books about Reiki, a Japanese form of stress relief that helps our bodies relax so we can heal more easily, are available at Smashwords, Google Play, Barnes and Noble, and on Amazon. Their titles are Reiki I: Exploring the Basics; Reiki II: Expanding Your Skills; and Reiki III: Mastering the Healing Art.
Both my young adult fantasy novel, The Healing Tree, and my non-fiction book, Healing with Trees: Finding a Path to Wholeness, are also available on Amazon.
If I Were a Tree, What Would I Be? is my fiction picture book for kids ages 4-10. It helps kids understand the joys and mutual benefits of making friends with trees. It may be purchased at https://www.ifiwereatreewhatwouldibe.com/ or from Balboa Press at https://www.balboapress.com/en/bookstore/bookdetails/803706-if-i-were-a-tree-what-would-i-be
